EXTERNAL SHUTTERS – EFFECTIVE PROTECTION, AESTHETICS AND DISCRETION

Outdoor roller shutters have excellent thermal insulation properties, which can be highly appreciated in winter. They allow you to reduce expenses related to heating your home as the most of heat escapes

BUILT-IN SHUTTERS WITH PVC INSPECTION COVER
This roller shutter model allows for the use of LED backlight over the entire width of the box.
Thoughtful, compact design, which was created from a combination of two different materials – aluminium (box, guides and shell) and PVC (inspection cover). This hybrid built-in roller shutter is a rigid and functional bottom profile construction, to which the revision cover is „clicked” into place, does not require additional screws or rivets and is matched in colour or veneer to the rest of the frames. PVC inspection cover gives exceptional rigidity even with very large widths and dimensions of the shutters.

They can also be installed when renovating and replacing windows. Similarly as in the case of built-in shutters – the box of shutters can be concealed under plaster after installation. TYPES OF MOTORS FOR SHUTTERS
The motors for external roller shutters are placed inside a steel roller shaft, on which the shell is tilted up when the roller shutter is lifted. Drives differ among others regarding their power, which depends on the size and weight of the shutter, control method, as well as the method of setting the so-called roller shutter end positions (places where the shutter stops when it is fully raised or lowered). When choosing motors for roller shutters, it is worth paying attention to whether they are equipped with so-called detection function. It stops the roller shutter motor as soon as increased resistance is detected. This protects the motor against overload and the roller shutter from damage, e.g. when the shell freezes.
RECEIVERS
Radio-controlled engines must be equipped with receivers, i.e. devices receiving signals from the transmitter. If we choose remote control from the beginning, the seller will advise us engines with a built-in radio. If you change the control method from wired to radio one, you will need to buy separate receivers. They are usually mounted in a flush-mounted box under the switch.

After disabling the alarm, the burglar faces a shutter, which can be strengthened with additional security elements. We have several solutions to choose from, and their selection depends on the type of shutters you have chosen.

In roller shutters with electric drive, these are so-called antipush up hangers which are the items installed inside the box. They provide a rigid connection between the drive shaft and roller shutter shell, which prevents the shell from being lifted and raised from the outside.

Shutters with manual drives can be equipped with two types of security mechanisms. The first of them is the most commonly used and does not require additional maintenance – it is an automatic bolt. As the name suggests, when closing roller shutter steel bolts located in the bottom slat automatically lock in the
guides. The mechanism is designed so that to unlock it, shell lifting must start from the drive side. Otherwise the bolts will remain in the guides preventing the shell from being lifted from the outside.

The second, alternative solution is a bolt lock located in the bottom slat. It is operated it with a key, and its locking mechanism works in the same way as the one found in the automatic bolt.

DOUBLE PROTECTION

The obstacle detection function built into electric drives is designed to protect both its users and the device. When an obstacle is detected, the mechanism retracts the shell and in the case of freezing it stops the engine.

INTEGRATION WITH ALARM

Shutters with electric drive can cooperate with intelligent instal- lations – alarms and group control. They can also work indepen- dently, simulating the presence of household members.
